Drumgrange receives Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award

Drumgrange has successfully renewed its status as an Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award recipient and has been awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award. On 7th September 2022, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Mr Nigel Atkinson, presented Drumgrange with the official Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award certificate. Army Challenge Leadership Event

The Drumgrange Team of Engineers recently had an exciting day attending and contributing to the Army Leadership Day held at Longmoor Training Camp, Farnham. This provided each individual with the opportunity to network and work alongside other employees from both the Private and Public sectors, solving problems as a team and contributing to the solutions with their particular expertise. Race the Sun: Drumgrange raised £5,785 for Action Medical Research for Children

In June 2022, 12 Drumgrange athletes participated in the ‘Race the Sun’ challenge in the Brecon Beacons National Park following weeks of training and preparation. Dr Andrew McLean - Obituary

It is with great sadness Drumgrange announces that our colleague Dr Andrew McLean passed away on 17 November 2021. Andrew was a larger than life personality with exuberant amounts of enthusiasm for his field of work which he gladly shared with all he worked with. He pioneered opportunities to advance the field and would always be willing to help colleagues solve complex technical challenges. He is a great loss to Drumgrange as well as the wider sonar community. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Posted: November 2021

SSAFA Drumgrange Charity Walk

On Saturday 26th June 2021, 16 Drumgrange employees, family and friends took part in the 10-mile challenge to raise money in support of the SSAFA charity during the UK Armed Forces week. Drumgrange is excited to announce that we have raised £3,175.00 to date in support of the SSAFA. Drumgrange COVID-19 and Brexit Statement

Drumgrange, like many other organisations, has been working hard on Brexit planning within the bounds of a COVID-19 world. COVID-19 has made us adapt to new ways of operating, such as digitalisation of the workplace and home working. Drumgrange, from the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic, implemented a robust response and initiated safeguards to protect our staff, contractors, customers and suppliers in line with UK Government guidelines. These measures have enabled Drumgrange to continue operating from a “business as usual” position with only minimal impact on capacity throughout 2020 and will hopefully continue to do so through 2021. JOSCAR Qualification

Drumgrange delivers Acoustic Hailing Device (AHD) to Japanese Coast Guard

Drumgrange is pleased to announce it has been successful in delivery over a million pound contract to the Japanese Coast Guard. The contract, which was awarded in November 2013, was delivered to Tokyo, Japan on the 13th February 2014. This is a first for Drumgrange in the supply of AHDs to the Japanese market and was achieved with the enormous support of its Japanese partner, Marubun Corporation, a Tokyo based trading House.
