Drumgrange Awarded VLF/LF Modulators and Demodulators Contract for the Turkey Upgrade Programme.
Drumgrange has been awarded a contract, by Antensan Elektronik situated in Ankara/Turkey, for the supply of VLF/LF Modulators and Demodulators as part of the Turkish VLF upgrade programme.
The equipment, Dual Modulator and Single Demodulator systems, will be installed at both the Turkish transmitter site and off air monitoring facilities.
In addition to the manufacture of the equipment Drumgrange will also provide support, spares and full warranty cover.
This is the continued delivery of Drumgrange’s new generation of AComP 4724 compatible Modulators and Demodulators into an operational environment and draws on the company’s vast experience in the VLF Communications sector. Drumgrange has been actively involved in VLF Submarine Broadcast Communications since the 1980s having developed bespoke items of equipment that span the entire VLF communications chain from headquarters, transmitter sites, to the submarine platforms. Drumgrange continues to support, refine and refresh those systems via long term contracts with National Governments, NATO and Prime Contractors.

In 2015 Drumgrange announced the development of a STANAG 4724 compatible VLF Modulator incorporating the latest state of the art technology.
